The inspiration for this gown came from an antique gown I saw in a book. The gown was English and dated circa 1900. The yoke and sleeves are made of French laces and silk garland flowers with, hand sewn, pearl centers. The bottom of the skirt is a simple design made with bands of lace and fabric. Satin ribbon is woven through wide entredeux at the bodice and skirt bottom to create a shimmering effect.
A matching bonnet is included with this gown.
