My love of smocking inspired this christening gown. It is made of Swiss Nelona pima batiste. The yoke is smocked with silk floche and pearls in a geometric pattern. Six panels make up the skirt section. Each panel incorporates lace shaping techniques that create hearts all along the bottom of the gown. The inside of each panel is lined with 2 rows of pintucks. The bottom of the underskirt "peeks" through to reveal additional lace and pintuck details. 31 yards of French lace were used to create this unique gown.
