Embroidered Diamonds
This christening gown is made of Italian cotton organdy and the finest Swiss Nelona pima batiste fabric. I like to pick fabrics that will last through the ages. Cotton is a strong fiber and holds up well.
The organdy bodice and the center panel are machine embroidered with bows, lillies of the valley, and wreaths of flowers. These motifs are surrounded by yards of French lace. A three inch French lace ruffle adorns the bottom of the gown. Four mother-of-pearl buttons close the back.
The gown includes a slip/underskirt and embroidered bonnet.
